Most orders arrive 2–7 business days after they leave our facility, depending on destination. Standard items ship in 1–2 weeks; custom Pantone or RAL color matches add about 1 week. Fully custom shapes and sizes are built to order — we'll quote a project timeline at order.

What to expect with FedEx Freight Direct

Your large planter ships on a pallet via FedEx Freight Direct, a noticeable step up from generic LTL freight:

    • 2-hour delivery windows — morning or evening, your choice
    • Text and email notifications when your shipment is scheduled, the day of delivery, and 30 minutes before the truck arrives
    • Curbside Delivery — Curbside, with a liftgate, along with an appointment (included on every retail order)
    • Real-time tracking via fedex.com or the FedEx app
    • Signature required at delivery — please have someone 18+ available

Want White Glove Delivery? Add it to your order at checkout for two-person delivery, placement in the room of your choice, and optional packaging removal. Available on orders $500+ in approximately 90% of the US — we'll confirm availability for your zip code.

Living in a condo, apartment, or high-rise? White Glove Delivery requires an available elevator (preferably a freight or service elevator) at the time of delivery. The FedEx team cannot carry planters up stairs. If your building requires elevator reservations, certificates of insurance, or specific delivery hours, please arrange these in advance. If elevator access is unavailable when FedEx arrives, the planter may be delivered to the building lobby or rescheduled at additional cost.

Inspect before signing. Open the pallet and check each planter at delivery. Note any visible damage on the FedEx delivery receipt before signing — this is the cleanest path to a fast resolution.

    Smaller items — FedEx Ground

Some smaller planters and accessories under 150 lbs ship via FedEx Ground (commercial addresses) or FedEx Home Delivery (residential, including weekends). Standard FedEx tracking, no appointment required, no signature unless you request one. Typical transit: 1–5 business days. Your shipping confirmation email will indicate which carrier is handling your order.

    If something arrives damaged

Fiberglass is durable, but freight happens. If you see damage at delivery:

    1. Note it on the FedEx delivery receipt before signing — the driver will wait while you inspect.
    2. Photograph the damage — pallet, packaging, and planter.
    3. Email sales@potsplantersandmore.com within 48 hours with photos and your order number.

We'll repair, replace, or credit at our discretion under our 3-year warranty. Concealed damage discovered after unpacking must be reported within 5 business days of delivery.

    High-rise, condo, and apartment delivery

We deliver to multi-unit buildings every day, but a few things need to be in place for delivery to succeed:

    • Reserve your building's freight or service elevator for your delivery window. Most buildings require 24–72 hours' notice and may restrict deliveries to weekday business hours.
    • Confirm the elevator can fit the planter — box is approximately 2" bigger than the planter dimensions. Measure your elevator and unit doorway before ordering.
    • Certificate of Insurance (COI) — many buildings require one before any vendor enters. We can request a COI from FedEx — email sales@potsplantersandmore.com at least 5 business days before delivery.
    • If the elevator isn't available when FedEx arrives, the planter may be delivered to the lobby or rescheduled at additional cost.

Not sure whether your building can accommodate White Glove Delivery? Contact us before ordering — we'll help you choose the right service level.

    Trade & job-site delivery

For landscape architects, designers, and commercial buyers:

    • Job-site delivery — provide site contact, hours, and any access restrictions at order
    • Coordinated delivery — we'll schedule finishing your planters to coordinate with your install dates
    • Blind ship — no PPM branding on pallet or packing slip for trade clients managing end-customer relationships
    • Certificate of Insurance (COI) — available on request for sites that require one
    • Inside delivery, white-glove, or installation coordination — available on request, quoted per project

Outside the continental US (AK, HI, Canada, international)

Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico, or international destinations can't be placed on this site. We work with freight forwarders for these regions — email sales@potsplantersandmore.com with your destination and we'll arrange a quote. FedEx Freight Direct also covers Canada, so cross-border quotes are usually quick.

A sleek tabletop planter on a sunny kitchen sill can turn everyday herbs into part of your décor, filling the air with fresh basil and mint while you cook. Step outside and place the same outdoor tabletop planter on a patio bar or dining table to keep succulents and cocktail herbs right within reach.

The Tabletop & Windowbox Collection gives you flexible options to style both indoor and outdoor spaces. These planters work in small corners, on dining tables, and even as accents for outdoor bars, adding color and life wherever you set them.

Why Choose a Tabletop Planter Box from the Tabletop & Windowbox Collection

A tabletop planter box blends sleek design with practical features, making it easy to bring greenery to kitchens, patios, offices, and more.

Each piece in the Tabletop & Windowbox Collection is designed from lightweight fiberglass that looks like ceramic but is far easier to move.

The UV‑stable finish resists fading and stains, so your planter looks at home on a sunny patio as well as on a dining table or office shelf.

With multiple lengths and profiles to choose from, you can find one that feels designed for your space.

How to Style a Tabletop Planter for Different Spaces

A tabletop planter adds structure and greenery without taking over the space. You can use it as a focal point or as a soft accent that blends with your décor.

A long tabletop planter, for example, looks clean and balanced on narrow surfaces. You can place a rectangular tabletop planter along a kitchen window and turn it into a fresh herb garden right where you cook.

It also works as a low centerpiece on a dining table, so everyone can see each other while still having that soft touch of greenery in the middle.

For bigger spots like console tables or patio counters, go for one that stretches most of the length. It gives you that clean, connected look without feeling busy.

Here’s how each size works in different spots:

  • 26″ × 7″ × 7″ lines a window box frame or sits at the center of a dining table, keeping greenery low-profile and conversation-friendly.
  • 32″ × 7″ × 7″ spans console tables or porch railings and has enough room for a lush begonia display or even mixed lettuces.
  • 44″ × 7″ × 7″ works as a dramatic rectangle tabletop planter on reception desks or garden walls, turning simple trough planting into living art.

The slim profile of these rectangular tabletop planters keeps sight lines clear while still giving you serious plant volume.

Indoor Tabletop Planter Ideas for Homes and Offices

Greenery can instantly change the mood of a room, and an indoor tabletop planter makes it simple to bring that feeling inside. A tabletop succulent planter on a work desk adds a lively touch of color without taking up much space, while a long, low planter works as a living centerpiece on a dining table.

A white tabletop planter pairs beautifully with trailing pothos or compact ferns on a kitchen counter or tucked neatly onto a bookshelf. For a stronger look, use a black tabletop planter with colorful succulents or orchids to add contrast against lighter walls and furniture.

Even a small tabletop planter can stand out when styled with intention. A tiny arrangement on a side table, windowsill, or entryway console adds a welcoming touch and brings life to overlooked spaces.

Outdoor Tabletop Planter Styling for Patios and Gardens

Patios and garden tables feel warmer and more welcoming when plants are part of the scene. A long outdoor planter filled with succulents can run along the edge of a bar cart, adding greenery without taking over space for drinks or snacks.

A low arrangement of seasonal blooms or cascading greenery down the center of a dining table creates an inviting feel and brings a fresh, natural energy to the space.

A garden table planter packed with fragrant herbs like basil or thyme adds both color and function to outdoor dining, keeping fresh ingredients close at hand. Bright begonias or trailing vines in a dining table planter bring a pop of color to weekend lunches or evening gatherings under string lights.

Lightweight fiberglass planters move easily, so you can adjust them with the sun or shift them around when entertaining. Pairing a smooth trough planter, for example, with rustic wood furniture or industrial metal accents creates depth and personality. Even one thoughtfully placed planter can make an outdoor space feel finished.

Color and Finish Pairings for Modern Tabletop Planters

The finish you choose can instantly shift how a space looks and, just as importantly, how everything ties together. For instance, a white tabletop planter naturally feels bright and clean, especially when you add soft trailing plants like pothos or string‑of‑pearls on a sunny kitchen counter or even an office shelf.

A black tabletop planter, on the other hand, gives bold contrast and really makes vibrant succulents or orchids stand out beautifully. You could easily place one on a light wood dining table or a marble reception desk for that extra bit of modern drama.

Neutral stone or metallic finishes in a modern tabletop planter, meanwhile, blend effortlessly into all kinds of décor styles.

For example, try pairing a brushed metal finish with glass or steel accents for an industrial look, or choose soft greys with natural woods for a warm and balanced touch that feels welcoming without trying too hard.

Plant Matchmaking for Your Tabletop Succulent Planter and More

Choosing the right plants brings your planter to life and makes care easier. Here are some ideas that work beautifully:

  • Succulents for easy care: Fill a tabletop succulent planter with echeveria, haworthia, and burro’s tail. Mix rosette-shaped succulents in the center with trailing greens around the edges for a balanced, layered look.
  • Bright and classic color: A begonia tabletop planter offers cheerful blooms and soft foliage, perfect for adding color to tabletops or windowsills.
  • Fresh and functional: Grow herbs like basil, thyme, and rosemary in a garden table planter to keep fresh flavors within easy reach for outdoor dining or kitchen prep.
  • Low-light greenery: Small ferns, peace lilies, or compact calatheas thrive in shaded corners or offices, adding year-round greenery with minimal fuss.
  • Compact styling: Even a small tabletop planter has impact when you mix plant heights, textures, and colors for a curated, intentional look.

Styling Tricks with Trough Planter Tabletop Designs

What’s wonderful about a trough planter tabletop is how it can completely change the feel of a space. Its long, low shape draws the eye and creates a natural line that ties everything together.

You can use it as a centerpiece on a buffet, stretch it across a console table, or even style it along a windowsill for a sleek, finished look.

Try these simple styling tricks to make it look amazing:

  • Create a focal point: Place three trough planters in a row on a buffet for a look that feels polished and intentional.
  • Divide spaces naturally: Set one on a counter or table to subtly separate work zones without blocking light or views.
  • Add calm and texture: Fill it with low‑growing moss, candles, or small succulents to create a peaceful, minimalist vibe.
  • Refresh through the seasons: Swap in spring flowers, summer herbs, or autumn branches so your space always feels current and lively.

Easy Maintenance Tips for Countertop Planters

A countertop planter is easy to care for when you keep a few things in mind. These tips can help your planter and plants stay fresh and healthy all year:

  • Wipe surfaces often: Use a soft cloth with mild soap and water to remove dust and spills without damaging the finish.
  • Check for drainage needs: Choose planters with drainage holes for outdoor use or plug them indoors to prevent water marks.
  • Use lightweight designs: Fiberglass planters are easy to move and clean.
  • Pick low‑maintenance plants: Succulents, herbs, and compact ferns thrive with minimal watering and care.
  • Refresh soil seasonally: Replacing the top layer of soil a couple of times a year supports plant health and growth.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Monaco is available in three sizes (L × W × H): 26" × 7" × 7" (planting opening 25" × 6"), 32" × 7" × 7" (opening 31" × 6"), and 44" × 7" × 7" (opening 43" × 6"). The 7" height and 7" width create an intentionally shallow, linear profile suited for surfaces rather than floors.

The 26" size weighs 8.5 lbs, the 32" weighs 13.2 lbs, and the 44" weighs 15 lbs. All three can be lifted and repositioned by one person, which matters for tabletop, countertop, and windowsill applications.

The Monaco ranks for "tabletop planter box," "small window box planter," and "rectangular table top planter." Low-growing succulents, herbs, air plants, trailing peperomia, and compact ornamental grasses fit comfortably in the 7" shallow cavity. For conference rooms or dining tables, a row of herbs or succulents creates a clean, low-maintenance living centerpiece.

The Monaco works well for windowsills, countertops, kitchen islands, dining tables, conference room tables, and ledges in commercial and residential settings. Its slim footprint and long span make it particularly effective for creating a continuous green line along a window run or reception desk.

Yes. All planters are crafted from commercial-grade fiberglass and finished with automotive-grade paint that resists UV fading, freeze-thaw cycles, wind, and rain. When the drainage holes are open or properly plugged before freezing temperatures, the planter will not crack or warp over winter. No sealers or coatings are needed.

You choose at checkout. Select "Yes Drainage Holes" for outdoor use, holes are pre-drilled and ready to plant. Select "No Drainage Holes" for indoor installations, and use a removable liner or saucer to protect floors. Drainage holes cannot be added after purchase, so choose carefully.
