Material & finish

Crafted from high-quality fiberglass and fiberstone, finished by hand with durable faux-stone textures. Choose from eight UV-resistant finishes designed to withstand the elements. Each planter is handmade; while dimensions are kept consistent, no two textures are exactly alike.

Indoor or outdoor + drainage

For outdoor use, select pre-drilled drainage holes (recommended). For indoor installations, choose “no holes” and pair with a liner or saucer to protect floors. Granby planters are lightweight yet strong, making them ideal for patios, decks, commercial environments, and residential spaces alike.

Best for

Ideal for adding soft, organic curves to structured environments. Use to accent modern architecture, frame entryways, or introduce subtle sculptural elements to lobbies, patios, or transitional interiors. Their balanced form works beautifully in both contemporary and classic spaces.

Note: Textured planters are non-returnable. Colors and textures may vary from on-screen appearance — please order a sample to confirm.

Picture the Granby accent planter standing like sculpture beside a walnut console, catching the morning light through a loft window. Outdoors, the same vase planter frames a café patio with effortless style. Its concrete look finish brings a modern edge with the warmth of natural stone, making it just as striking with indoor greenery as it is on open patios.

Why Choose a Concrete Look Vase

A concrete look vase gives you the style of sculpted stone without the heavy weight. The Granby combines fiberglass and fiberstone to create a modern concrete vase that is easy to move, tough enough for outdoor use, and elegant enough for any indoor setting.

Each planter is hand-layered and finished with eight faux-stone textures, so it has the depth and variation of natural stone but remains light and practical. This balance of style and durability makes it a natural fit for both homes and commercial spaces.

You can use a large concrete look floor vase to anchor a hotel lobby or create a bold focal point on a patio. Indoors, its clean lines and soft finish work beautifully in open-concept living rooms, hallways, or gallery-style spaces.

Choosing the Right Planter Vase Size for Your Space

The right planter vase size transforms both the look and feel of your room. The Granby collection offers four thoughtfully designed diameters, each suited to a range of interiors and styles.

Here’s how each size can complement your space with balance and elegance:

  • 20-inch diameter planter – Perfect for apartment entryways, tucked into a breakfast nook, or set near a reading chair to bring in greenery without crowding the room.
  • 24-inch diameter planter – Works beautifully next to a mid-century credenza, by a fireplace hearth, or flanking a console table to frame artwork above.
  • 26-inch diameter planter – A versatile “just right” size that feels balanced on balcony lounges or patio corners while still leaving open views.
  • 30-inch diameter planter – A true statement piece, perfect for hotel lobbies, poolside cabanas, or anywhere you want bold greenery to stand out.

Indoor Planter Vase Styling

Indoors, the Granby planter vase functions like a modern sculpture. It’s useful, but also decorative. A black planter placed under large wall art creates depth and drama, while a white planter brightens a minimalist loft and keeps the space feeling open.

Pair it with wood accents for warmth, metal finishes for a sleek look, or glass furniture to keep things feeling light. In open-concept homes, a planter near a window seat or along a hallway brings life and movement to the space without feeling cluttered.

Outdoor Planter Vase Styling

Outdoors, the Granby planter vase feels right at home. You can cluster three different sizes by your front door to create a tiered greenery look or place two large concrete look floor vases to frame a patio entrance or restaurant terrace.

You can pair it with modern outdoor furniture for a sleek resort-like feel or place it near teak decking and soft textiles for a warmer, relaxed style. Because of its concrete-look finish, it blends easily with stone, wood, and metal accents, so it works with almost any design.

Color & Texture Pairings for Your Planter Vase

Choosing the right color planter can change how your space feels. A white planter vase stands out against dark siding or deep-toned walls, giving a bright and airy look. A black planter vase feels dramatic and adds contrast in spaces with light stone or wood floors.

If you love cool tones, you can go for grey textures that work beautifully with stainless railings or glass furniture. For warmth, pair sand or tan tones with teak decking or woven accents.

You can also play with bolder colors of your fiberglass planters. Picture a red planter beside a cream patio set, a navy planter on a pale wood deck, or a green planter paired with neutral concrete pavers to create a striking focal point!

Plant Matchmaking for Your Planter Vase

The right plants can turn your planter into a true statement piece. Upright varieties like fiddle-leaf figs, Italian cypress, or bird-of-paradise add height and structure, drawing the eye upward.

In shaded spots, peace lilies and calatheas create lush, layered greenery, while dwarf citrus trees or lavender flourish in full sun, bringing both color and fragrance to the space.

To add even more depth, mix textures, shapes, and planter styles. Trailing plants like sweet potato vines, purple heart, or ferns gently spill over the edges, softening the look. For visual balance, anchor the center with taller plants and let cascading varieties fill in the sides.

Don’t be afraid to combine round and square planters - the contrast creates structure and keeps the arrangement feeling dynamic from every angle.

Easy Care Tips to Keep Your Planter Vase Looking Great

You don’t have to worry about heavy upkeep with the Granby. Its UV-stable faux-stone finish wipes clean with mild soap and water, so it always looks fresh. If you’re using it as an outdoor planter, optional drainage holes help handle rain and freeze-thaw cycles, keeping your planter in great shape year-round.

Since it’s made from a fiberglass and fiberstone blend, you get the look of concrete without the weight or risk of cracking. That means you can move it easily, set it anywhere, and enjoy its style for years.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Granby is available in four sizes (Diameter × Height): 20" × 31", 24" × 37", 24" × 19", and 36" × 30". The size range spans from a compact 24" × 19" accent piece to a large 36" × 30" planter, covering both supplementary and primary placements within a project.

The Granby is offered in 8 faux-stone textured finishes, including Light Concrete, Greystone, Coal, and other naturalistic tones. These finishes bring visual texture and a natural stone appearance to a lightweight fiberglass vessel that resists frost, UV, and weathering.

The Granby's jar-influenced round form and mid-to-tall heights suit mounding or architectural plants. Ornamental grasses, small palms, dwarf citrus, birds-of-paradise, and compact flowering shrubs all pair well with the Granby's proportions and naturalistic finish tones. For luxury hotel or restaurant settings, lush tropical specimens in the 36" model create an immediate, high-impact focal point.

The Granby fits luxury hotels, restaurants, lobbies, patios, and modern commercial or residential projects where a naturalistic, rounded planter is needed to soften straight architectural lines. Used in groups at varied heights, it creates the layered, organic composition that biophilic design projects require.

Yes. All planters are crafted from commercial-grade fiberglass and finished with automotive-grade paint that resists UV fading, freeze-thaw cycles, wind, and rain. When the drainage holes are open or properly plugged before freezing temperatures, the planter will not crack or warp over winter. No sealers or coatings are needed.

You choose at checkout. Select "Yes Drainage Holes" for outdoor use, holes are pre-drilled and ready to plant. Select "No Drainage Holes" for indoor installations, and use a removable liner or saucer to protect floors. Drainage holes cannot be added after purchase, so choose carefully.
