Material & finish

Crafted from high-quality fiberglass and fiberstone, finished by hand with durable faux-stone textures. Choose from eight UV-resistant finishes designed to withstand the elements. Each planter is handmade; while dimensions are kept consistent, no two textures are exactly alike.

Indoor or outdoor + drainage

For outdoor use, select pre-drilled drainage holes (recommended). For indoor installations, choose “no holes” and pair with a liner or saucer to protect floors. Edgewood planters are lightweight yet strong, making them ideal for patios, decks, commercial environments, and residential spaces alike.

Best for

Perfect for both residential and commercial applications. Use to frame entryways, accent walls, or highlight feature areas. The fluted silhouette provides a sculptural element that works beautifully in both modern and traditional designs.

Note: Textured planters are non-returnable. Colors and textures may vary from on-screen appearance — please order a sample to confirm.

There’s something about the Edgewood large fluted planter that just feels elevated. Maybe it’s the gentle, sculptural fluting, or the soft stone-like texture that catches light at every angle. This fluted planter pot is the ultimate design element.

Stylish yet timeless, it fits right in whether you’re styling a city balcony, a front porch, or a bright sunroom. Indoors or out, Edgewood adds a touch of architecture to any space - no renovation required.

Explore the Design Behind the Fluted Look

The Edgewood features a gently tapered shape with vertical fluting that adds movement without being too busy. It’s made of a durable blend of fiberglass and fiberstone that mimics real stone but is significantly lighter. That means you get the high-end look without the backache.

Each pot is finished in your choice of eight faux-stone shades - from soft light concrete to bold onyx-black - so you can match your aesthetic, whether it’s coastal calm or modern industrial. These finishes are UV-stable and weather-resistant, and every Edgewood tall planter is backed by a 3-year limited warranty. This piece is designed to look good and stick around.

Find the Right Size for Every Spot

Edgewood comes in six different sizes, each created with placement in mind. Here's what you can get:

  • 15- and 16-inch diameter planters - Perfectly scaled for small patios, front steps, or even indoor corners. Use them to flank stairs, or add height to a low-profile side table.
  • 22- and 23-inch diameter planters - These midsized options create balance in seating areas, patios, or by entryways. Large enough to make a statement, compact enough not to overwhelm.
  • 26-inch diameter planters - Ideal for anchoring wide-open spaces like lobbies, terraces, or garden corners. Plant it once and let it do the heavy lifting.
  • 22” x 40” tall - This extra-tall fluted planter pot stands beautifully beside double doors, along commercial walkways, or at the edge of a breezy veranda.

Each size offers a different kind of visual rhythm - so whether you’re working with tight square footage or wide-open space, there’s a version that fits like it was made for it.

Choose a Finish That Sets the Mood

Color changes everything. A black fluted planter instantly elevates pale wood floors, bright patios, or whitewashed siding. For a richer look, pair it with deep burgundy foliage or bold brass planters to create a gallery-worthy scene.

A white fluted planter offers breezy elegance - perfect for coastal homes, spa-inspired bathrooms, or modern farmhouse porches. Fill it with green-on-green plants for a clean, organic palette.

And the concrete-look fluted planter? It’s the versatile middle ground. Slide it into a loft with exposed brick, or pair it with cedar and matte metals for a warm, industrial vibe.

Match the Right Plants to the Right Pot

Pairing the right plant with the right fluted planter pot will bring out the best in both. Here’s how to get it right:

  • 15-16" diameter planter - Great for snake plants, ZZ plants, or cascading pothos - compact plants that still bring shape and interest.
  • 22" diameter planter - Go for rubber trees, peace lilies, or lush ferns. Perfect for patios, entryways, or making indoor corners feel more alive.
  • 26" and 40" tall planters - These pair best with upright, architectural plants like fiddle-leaf figs, olive trees, or small palms. The height of the plant mirrors the height of the pot, creating a clean, cohesive look.

Tip: Use tall plants to emphasize the Edgewood’s fluted lines, or trail softer foliage like ivy or philodendron over the edge to balance the structure with a bit of movement.

Enjoy Easy Upkeep Indoors and Out

This outdoor fluted planter is as practical as it is good-looking. Each one can be ordered with or without drainage holes, so you can adapt it for your setup. If you're placing it outside, we recommend drainage to prevent root rot. For indoor use, just add a saucer or keep it un-drilled.

For cleaning, just wipe it with a soft cloth and mild soap. No harsh chemicals needed. And while the finish is UV-stable and freeze-resistant, it’s always smart to slightly elevate the base during harsh winters to keep moisture from collecting underneath.

This planter is also lightweight for its size, which means you can move it seasonally or rearrange as your space evolves.

Try Our Design Tips for Maximum Style

Not sure where to start? These easy design tips will help you style your Edgewood Fluted Planter Pot like a pro - whether you’re decorating a modern patio or cozy apartment balcony.

  • Poolside modern - Line up three concrete-look Edgewoods along a pool or outdoor wall. Fill them with upright plants like snake plants or horsetail reed. The fluted texture will add movement and structure without making the space feel busy.
  • Indoor gallery corner - Place a large white fluted indoor planter next to a favorite chair or console table. Add a tall plant like a rubber tree and hang artwork nearby. It’s a quick way to turn an empty corner into a polished, put-together moment.
  • Classic front porch - Try one planter on each side of your front door for a timeless look. Use matching plants like boxwoods or lavender to keep things clean and symmetrical - perfect for curb appeal year-round.
  • Small-space charm - Even a little balcony or patio can feel fresh. A 15” Edgewood filled with trailing pothos or ivy will bring color and softness without taking up much room.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Edgewood is available in six size combinations (Diameter × Height): 15" × 21", 16" × 30", 22" × 27", 22" × 40", 23" × 20", and 26" × 32". The range covers both compact accent sizes and taller heights, and you can mix sizes within a single installation for a layered arrangement.

Unlike the smooth fiberglass line, the Edgewood is offered in 8 textured faux-stone finishes: Light Concrete, Limestone, Grey Concrete, Charcoal, White, Terra Cotta, Black, and Navy Blue. These surface textures replicate the look of natural stone while retaining the lightweight, frost-resistant properties of fiberglass.

The Edgewood's vertical fluting and stone-like finishes suit classic and naturalistic plantings. Boxwood balls, bay laurel topiaries, ornamental grasses, lavender, and compact flowering shrubs complement the textured surface. For taller sizes like the 22" × 40", ornamental grasses or tall single-stem plants amplify the height of the fluted column form.

The Edgewood is a good fit for projects that want the texture and visual weight of stone without the actual weight or frost-cracking risk. It works at residential gardens, commercial building entries, hotel terraces, and framing applications where a naturalistic but refined look is needed.

Yes. All planters are crafted from commercial-grade fiberglass and finished with automotive-grade paint that resists UV fading, freeze-thaw cycles, wind, and rain. When the drainage holes are open or properly plugged before freezing temperatures, the planter will not crack or warp over winter. No sealers or coatings are needed.

You choose at checkout. Select "Yes Drainage Holes" for outdoor use, holes are pre-drilled and ready to plant. Select "No Drainage Holes" for indoor installations, and use a removable liner or saucer to protect floors. Drainage holes cannot be added after purchase, so choose carefully.
