What to expect with FedEx Freight Direct
Your large planter ships on a pallet via FedEx Freight Direct, a noticeable step up from generic LTL freight:
Want White Glove Delivery? Add it to your order at checkout for two-person delivery, placement in the room of your choice, and optional packaging removal. Available on orders $500+ in approximately 90% of the US — we'll confirm availability for your zip code.
Living in a condo, apartment, or high-rise? White Glove Delivery requires an available elevator (preferably a freight or service elevator) at the time of delivery. The FedEx team cannot carry planters up stairs. If your building requires elevator reservations, certificates of insurance, or specific delivery hours, please arrange these in advance. If elevator access is unavailable when FedEx arrives, the planter may be delivered to the building lobby or rescheduled at additional cost.
Inspect before signing. Open the pallet and check each planter at delivery. Note any visible damage on the FedEx delivery receipt before signing — this is the cleanest path to a fast resolution.
Smaller items — FedEx Ground
Some smaller planters and accessories under 150 lbs ship via FedEx Ground (commercial addresses) or FedEx Home Delivery (residential, including weekends). Standard FedEx tracking, no appointment required, no signature unless you request one. Typical transit: 1–5 business days. Your shipping confirmation email will indicate which carrier is handling your order.
If something arrives damaged
Fiberglass is durable, but freight happens. If you see damage at delivery:
We'll repair, replace, or credit at our discretion under our 3-year warranty. Concealed damage discovered after unpacking must be reported within 5 business days of delivery.
High-rise, condo, and apartment delivery
We deliver to multi-unit buildings every day, but a few things need to be in place for delivery to succeed:
Not sure whether your building can accommodate White Glove Delivery? Contact us before ordering — we'll help you choose the right service level.
Trade & job-site delivery
For landscape architects, designers, and commercial buyers:
Outside the continental US (AK, HI, Canada, international)
Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico, or international destinations can't be placed on this site. We work with freight forwarders for these regions — email sales@potsplantersandmore.com with your destination and we'll arrange a quote. FedEx Freight Direct also covers Canada, so cross-border quotes are usually quick.
Walk into any well-designed space and there’s usually one element that quietly pulls it all together. The Corry Tall Cylinder Planter Pot does exactly that. With its clean lines, vertical form, and modern look, it’s built to bring height, structure, and simplicity wherever you put it.
It works just as well outside a front door as it does in a hallway, office corner, or reception area. The tall, smooth shape makes it easy to style with upright plants or cascading greens, and its soft profile doesn’t take up more room than it needs to. Indoors or out, it’s a practical, design-forward piece that makes the space feel more intentional - without stealing the spotlight.
Pick the Right Size for the Right Spot
With three well-sized options to choose from, the Corry straight-sided planter works anywhere - be it a compact balcony, a spacious lobby, a cozy corner, or an open-concept room.
The 10-inch diameter planter at a 20-inch height is perfect for tighter areas. It adds vertical presence to condo balconies or entry consoles without overwhelming the space. Add a snake plant or bird’s nest fern and watch it quietly pull the whole look together.
Take that same 10-inch width up to 30 inches high, and you’ll have a slender hero piece. Try it beside a minimalist sideboard or at the base of a stairwell landing for a sense of upward motion and architectural rhythm.
The 12-inch diameter planter at 36 inches high is the true showstopper - a large cylinder planter that makes an impact. Use it to flank restaurant entrances, anchor a retail window display, or break up an expansive living room with living sculpture.
Each size of this tall round cylinder planter stands out - whether you’re framing a doorway, adding height to a space, or just looking for a clean, modern touch.
Weather-Proof Style You Can Count On
The Corry tall planter isn’t just for show. It's made from high-quality fiberglass, which means it’s lightweight enough to move around solo - but strong enough to handle harsh weather, commercial foot traffic, and day-to-day life.
Whether you’re styling a cylinder planter outdoor installation or placing one in a bustling lobby, you can count on the Corry to hold up. It’s resistant to sun, cold, moisture, and wear. No cracking. No warping. No fuss.
Choose from low-gloss or high-gloss finishes, depending on the vibe you’re after. Each is hand-applied and UV-stable - so your modern cylinder planter will look just as good next season as it does today.
Bring Color and Mood Into Focus
Let’s talk style for a second. Color isn’t just about what looks good - it’s about creating the right feeling and atmosphere in your space.
A white cylinder planter pops like fresh linen against dark wood, navy siding, or matte black windows. Add emerald pothos or pink begonias for a clean, high-contrast palette that feels light and intentional.
A black cylinder planter becomes pure sculpture in modern spaces - especially on pale terrazzo, blonde wood, or against brushed concrete. Plant it with bright green ZZ plants or fiery coleus to turn heads.
A grey cylinder planter is a soft bridge between styles. Use it in industrial lofts, Scandinavian porches, or modern farmhouse patios. Blue eucalyptus or silvery artemisia will echo the tone perfectly.
And if you’re feeling bold? High-gloss red, navy, or cobalt finishes look incredible next to neutral furniture or cushions. Let your cylindrical planter pots become the accent that sets the tone.
Plants That Fit the Form
Straight lines deserve strong plant partners - or just the right ones to soften the edges.
Tall plants like fiddle-leaf figs, dracaena, or narrow evergreens reflect the vertical energy of the Corry, reinforcing the height and simplicity of the form. This is especially powerful in commercial or formal spaces where structure matters.
Want a more organic, easygoing look? Let cascading vines like pothos, string-of-pearls, or ivy spill over the sides to break up the geometry and add softness.
The taller 10- and 12-inch diameter planters also work great for dwarf citrus trees, bamboo, or kentia palms - ideal for patios, foyers, or shaded indoor corners that need a bit of life.
Enjoy Effortless Care for Lasting Style
Keeping your space stylish shouldn’t feel like extra work. The Corry tall round planter is made to be easy to care for.
- Wipe it down with mild soap and water if it gets dusty.
- Order pre-drilled drainage holes for outdoor use - or drill your own if needed.
- No need to repaint, reseal, or baby it thanks to built-in UV protection and tough-as-nails finishes.
It’s the kind of planter that looks polished without the upkeep. Just plant it, place it, and let it work.
Try Our Styling Tips to Make It Pop
You don’t have to be a designer to make the Corry look amazing. It’s all about smart placement and letting the planter’s clean lines do the work.
Use a trio of planters in varying heights to create a vertical garden in a corner or along a window. It will create rhythm without clutter and instantly make the space feel “done.”
Place one planter on either side of French doors for classic symmetry and a polished entrance.
Indoors, tuck a single planter behind a sectional sofa as a “living column” - it will lead the eye toward focal points like artwork or fireplaces without blocking light.
Want it to feel like it was styled by a pro? Choose one strong plant per pot, don’t overcrowd, and let the shape speak for itself.
Ready to Elevate Your Space?
Imagine walking into your room and spotting bold green foliage rising from an elegant cylinder planter - simple design, big impact. The Corry isn’t just a planter; it’s a style centrepiece that adds purpose and polish to your home or business.
Pick your size. Select your finish. Let the Corry Tall Cylinder Planter Pot bring clean lines, height, and style wherever it goes.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Corry is available in three sizes (Diameter × Height): 10" × 20" (8" opening, 5.8 gal), 10" × 30" (8" opening, 8.7 gal), and 12" × 36" (10" opening, 15 gal). The narrow cylinder profile is consistent across all three, rising cleanly from a small footprint.
The 10" × 20" weighs 6 lbs, the 10" × 30" weighs 7 lbs, and the 12" × 36" weighs 11 lbs. Those weights make the Corry easy to place in pairs on either side of a door, along a tight corridor, or on a balcony where weight is a concern.
The Corry suits upright, narrow plantings. Snake plants, dracaena marginata, ornamental grasses, and columnar succulents are good choices. For a dramatic entrance pair, tall ornamental grass or bamboo in the 12" × 36" model adds significant height above the rim.
The narrow cylinder draws the eye upward and creates vertical rhythm along a walkway, corridor, or entry sequence without consuming much floor space. At 10" to 12" in diameter, it fits between furniture pieces, in window bays, and along patio edges where wider planters would feel crowded.
Yes. All planters are crafted from commercial-grade fiberglass and finished with automotive-grade paint that resists UV fading, freeze-thaw cycles, wind, and rain. When the drainage holes are open or properly plugged before freezing temperatures, the planter will not crack or warp over winter. No sealers or coatings are needed.
You choose at checkout. Select "Yes Drainage Holes" for outdoor use, holes are pre-drilled and ready to plant. Select "No Drainage Holes" for indoor installations, and use a removable liner or saucer to protect floors. Drainage holes cannot be added after purchase, so choose carefully.
