Filled weights assume 80% fill of saturated potting soil at 85 lb/ft³ — standard load-planning assumption for commercial installations. Actual weights vary with media density, moisture, root ball, and headspace.

Ships in 1–2 weeks for any of our 40 standard finishes and custom color matches across all 14 sizes in the Torino, Granada, and Brisbane family. Spray-out samples and custom shapes run longer; details are in the Design Guidance tab.

Prices shown are standard retail. No trade account required. They include any of our 20 standard colors in Low Gloss or High Gloss (40 finish options). Custom color matching is available with a small per-color fee that covers the full matching process, including physical spray-out samples for approval before production. The fee covers the color in both gloss levels. Pre-drilled drainage holes are free if you need them.

Materials & Construction

• Material: hand-laid commercial-grade fiberglass with a reinforced base. The 72"×24"×32" Brisbane weighs 104 lb empty — light enough that a two-person crew can move and place even the largest Brisbane without lift equipment, whereas an equivalent concrete or stone trough at the same scale typically runs several hundred pounds heavier and usually requires a forklift or pallet jack.
• Finish: multi-coat automotive-grade paint, hand-applied and clear-coated. UV-stable, frost-resistant, and rated for desert sun, coastal salt air, and freeze-thaw climates.
• Color range: 20 standard colors, each available in Low Gloss or High Gloss for 40 total finish options. Custom color matching to any Pantone or RAL code is available for a small per-color fee, covering both gloss levels. Works equally well for hotel brand standards, architectural specs, and matching residential trim. For brand colors held in other systems, convert to the nearest Pantone or RAL equivalent for the most accurate result.
• Construction: seamless one-piece body. No corner joints to fail, crack, or leak even on the 72" runs.
• Origin: three Jay Scotts silhouettes — Torino (18"H), Granada (24"H), and Brisbane (32"H) — US-finished by Pots Planters & More. We stock the base inventory in our facility and finish each order to your color specification.

Project Planning Notes

• Filled weight (load planning): see the Filled (est.) column in the size table above. Estimates assume 80% fill of saturated potting soil at 85 lb/ft³; a 48"×24"×32" Brisbane lands near 1,390 lb filled, and a 72"×24"×32" Brisbane lands near 2,090 lb. For rooftop terraces, elevated patios, and interior office floors, confirm load capacity with your structural engineer or building manager before ordering the 60" or 72" lengths in the 24" or 32" height.
• Tree planting in the 32" Brisbane height: the deep cavity and 24" width make the Brisbane height well suited to tree plantings. The 36" and 48" Brisbane sizes fit common nursery-container ornamentals, palms, and large shrubs; the 60" and 72" Brisbane sizes accommodate larger field-grown trees, multi-stem ornamentals, or paired tree-and-understory plantings. Confirm root-ball dimensions and headspace against the planting-opening column above before finalizing the size, and pair with structural soil amendment where appropriate.
• Privacy and divider runs: the 24" Granada and 32" Brisbane heights, planted with tall grasses, podocarpus, columnar boxwood, or bamboo palm, build effective visual screens for restaurant patio dividers, hotel poolside cabanas, and rooftop lounge zoning. Spec the 60" or 72" length to span a seating bay in a single planter rather than chaining short boxes.
• Drainage decision: indoor use is typically "no drainage" with a saucer or basin under the root ball. Outdoor use should be "pre-drilled" to prevent freeze damage and root rot. Both options are free; pick at order.
• Custom color workflow: send us your Pantone or RAL code. We mix the match and produce physical spray-out samples for your approval. Once approved, production begins. Add roughly one week to standard lead time for the spray-out and approval cycle. A small per-color fee applies and covers all spray-outs needed to lock the match — the fee covers both Low Gloss and High Gloss versions of that color. If your brand color lives in another system, convert to the nearest Pantone or RAL equivalent before submitting; cross-system conversions from house-paint references are typically only 80% accurate and add significant time to the approval cycle.
• Lead time caveats: standard sizes and custom color match ship in 1–2 weeks. Custom shape or size orders run 10–12 weeks. Out-of-stock base inventory (rare) runs 8–12 weeks. We confirm exact dates in writing before you commit.

• Returns: 30 days from delivery on standard-color items in original condition. Custom color match orders are made to your specification and aren't returnable. We confirm this in writing at time of quote so there are no surprises at delivery.
